Two New Babies!

June 30th 2013:
They grew even more after the huge rain that we had. Farmer Steve went out and worked to keep the vines staked down using wooden BBQ sticks.

We were sad when we heard from our friends in Circleville that their patch was hit with hail during the storms this past week. Cecil says that they had some damage and that it was a set back but that the patch will recover.

We all work so hard on our pumpkins and they really are becoming like children. We need to name our pumpkin children.

Me.. "Farmer Lucky" as Steve calls me with the giant pumpkins.

July 1st 2013 

Two new babies today! Each are growing on the biggest secondary vines off of the main vine. The first little pumpkin we had was at the end of the main vine.  I Guess we should think about names for each pumpkin. Anybody have suggestions?
